Application and Validation of Analytical Software (SQX) for Semi-Quantitative Determination of the Main Chemical Composition of Solid, Bulk and Powder Fuel Samples by Wavelength Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Technique

Determination of the content chemical elements occurring in waste large, small and trace amounts was performed using two instrumental analysis techniques: ICP-OES—Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry WDXRF—Wavelength Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry. Since such analyses are expensive time-consuming, objective work presented this paper development a quick inexpensive method for preliminary, scanning-based identification composition tested samples (solid, bulk or powder) standardless, semi-quantitative analysis. An optimized preparing measurements by pressing into durable tablet, universal all materials tested, developed. Moreover, limits quantification were determined, uncertainty results obtained estimated comparing them with acquired use accredited calibration method, employing standards certified reference materials.
